We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate software developer to join our team developing web applications in Sheffield city centre. You will be involved in all aspects of the software development process.

You will be a problem solver who enjoys working with other people and is eager to learn new skills and technologies. The ability to pick up new skills quickly is a must as you will be expected to engage in a variety development and operations tasks:

• Work with customers to understand their requirements and find solutions to business problems
• Participate in the design of software systems - UX is a key component of this
• Create applications using html, css, javascript, php, c# and sql
• Understand and improve development tools, such as source control svn/git and configuration management
• Testing software to find faults and then fix those faults
• Deploying applications to Linux and Windows servers in our data centres
• Monitoring the performance of systems and devising ways to optimize performance
