What does bespoke software development cost?

Our biggest software development projects are long term commitments that last several years (and include both ongoing technical support and hosting). It is possible though to give some examples of the kind of work we do together with ballpark figures. The cost of bespoke software development varies - by definition it's bespoke - but these examples should give you some idea of the likely cost of your project.
- Small technically straightforward projects - simple wireframe prototypes, short pieces of interactive e-learning content. £2.5k - £10k.
- A relatively small web or mobile application with database. Perhaps a straightforward bespoke CRM solution. Small number of users and more importantly only one or two different user roles. £10k - £50k.
- A larger bespoke web or mobile application. 2 or 3 different user roles, multiple users and more complex business workflow. Some built in custom reporting. £50k - £150k.
- A big multi-phase bespoke web application development, perhaps 4 phases in a year with further ongoing development beyond that. A multi-function system - perhaps with CRM, extensive reporting, complex business workflow, multiple different user roles and potentially hundreds (or more) registered users. £150k - £300k+.
