Software Developer Vacancy

We're looking for a full-time analyst developer to work as part of our development team here in Sheffield.

The successful candidate would be involved in the design and development of both our project based solutions and our own products. There's also an opportunity to be client facing - we're keen to find someone who'd like to meet customers and who can be involved right from the start in the design of new applications.

Here's what we're looking for:

1. Recent web application development experience, particularly the design and development of business applications that need to support large numbers of users.


2. Good working knowledge of PHP and the LAMP stack. Solid experience of HTML/CSS/JS/JQUERY & SQL would be great.


3. Good database design and development skills. We're particularly interested in developers who have experience of more than one database technology - for example, developers who can switch between MS SQL Server and an open source platform such as PostgreSQL are ideal.


4. Good web design skills would be a massive advantage. We're looking for a developer who can show experience of designing modern, easy-to-use user interfaces.


5. Someone who really can work independently when required.


6. Someone who's interested in new technologies and is keen to pick up new skills.

We're a small friendly company and this is a role that would suit someone who's got initiative, enjoys plenty of responsibility and at the same time is comfortable as part of a small close-knit team.
